what actually is a 'remote-two-way-circuit'? lumos! ah, there you are ... today's video is not about sorcery or about harry potter... ... or about the magic of screw-drivers. it's about "switching via remote control". and that can sometimes be quite handy, can't it? and nowadays you can buy such wireless controled sockets for a few dollars in all sorts of stores. but certainly it is not yet perfect:...

maybe you forget, where you put your remote. or maybe you come into your living-room - hands full with all your stuff ... ... and would rather like to push a normal switch with the elbow. or maybe technology doesn't work once again: receiver broken, batteries flat, reception disturbed. then you have a problem and can't switch on your light. yes, it would certainly be handy, not only to have a remote but a normal switch as well. by the way that's not only my opinion but for example nico from aachen's, too. he worte so much after the last 'dipl.niesbert-video'. thanks nico, for your good idea. but now those normal wireless sockets are not so easy: ...

here is the problem: putting a normal wireless socket in a row with a normal switch .. ... means that always both of them need to be on for the lamp to light up. if you for example leave the room and switch off via remote ... ... you can't just come in like that and operate with your elbow. or, if somebody switched of with the normal switch, ... ... you can not just lazily light up your room, sitting on your sofa. no no no no. for this to make sense, ... ... you need to be able to switch on and off with either switch anytime ... ... pretty much the same as with the two-way-circuit actually.

lumos maxima! hmmm.. but have you heared of a "remote-two-way-switch" yet? i have found such a switch - and of course ordered it straight away ... here it is. and now i'm going to try to convert this circuit (from my last video) ... ... into a remote-two-way-circuit. the first switch will be replaced for a normal two-way-switch, ... ... just as you know it from at home.

that's by the way how it looks from the back. and the second one is replaced for the remote-two-way-switch. ok. and now the moment, we've all been waiting for. as you can see, on one side there is the remote-switch now ... ... and on the other side the normal switch is installed. the normal switch still works. and now we are going to see, whether or not the remote-switch works ... ... with the provided remote control. yes!

it works! you see that? i can switch on and off by turns with this button. cool! ok, and now, of course, i'm going to install that switch here in my flat. nox. lumos. nox. lumos. na well. modern engineering is often hard to distinguish from sorcery. just think about it! more information on 'remote-two-way-circuit' is available on "www.sprichuebertechnik.de" ... ... at the moment only in german, but maybe soon in english?
